“No Pride in Detention” -Mural Project

“No pride in Detention”, mural project, 6 x 8 ft, medium: Spraypaint, Acrylic Paint. In partnership with Familia:Trans Queer Liberation Movement, Association of Latinos/as/xs Motivation Action (ALMA), Pilsen Arts Community House (PACH), and local volunteers. Together, designing and organizing a piece to engage the community by spreading awareness of the inhumane detaining of Latinx Trans women, and those that have died at the hands of ICE. By passers were given information, encouraged to sign petitions, and wrote words of affirmation love for Trans victims.
